I read in the Sun today that Obi is being pursued by Arsene Wenger as a replacement for “Hairy Henry”. What a joke! He’s never going to be as good as Henry was, not a million years! Wenger should keep the cash from Henry, go abroad again and uncover a jewel from some far flung corner of the French commonwealth.

Surely Wenger’s scouts have got their eye on the next Henry somewhere? Even if they don’t, Wenger can probably find a player for far less than the £11million or so that was being touted as Obi’s asking price. Nugent for instance, he’d be far less money and he’s English! Then again, Wenger’s not really a big fan of English players, just ask Francis Jeffers and Jermaine Pennant to name a few, though I think he must’ve had a soft spot for Ashley Cole to have played him for such a long time before cashing in on him by way of a switch to the dark side, sorry, I meant Chelsea.
