I read on the ManUtd.com website today that he has expressed an interest in joining Man Utd. I suppose with Henry moving to Barcelona, he might struggle to get a game, unless Barca sell Eto’o.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to sell Eto’o than Gudjohnsen? Eto’o would fetch a similar sort of money as Thiery Henry, therefore funding the transfer of him from Arsenal. He’s also a similar player to Henry, so why would they sell Gudjohnsen who is nothing like Henry.

As a Man Utd fan, I would prefer for us to sign someone like Eto’o than Gudjohnsen, purely so that he could cover for Saha when he’s not playing. I suspect if Fergie did sign someone like Eto’o, he’d have to sell Saha to make the books balance, goes round in circles doesn’t it?
